The app works great if you just want a live camera, but it will only record alerts with an SD card. The app will automatically turn off your recording preferences without a cloud subscription. Also, the PC app has limited features compared to the phone app and is written in Chinese by default. Also, the SD card is spring loaded, I lost the first SD card when it was thrown out the window, the second SD card had the same problem.
