This kettle does not meet ALL Clad standards and has many issues.
This kettle's whistle failed within a few weeks of ownership, then developed a small but noticeable leak near the spout and finally showed signs of corrosion on the internal base. The cover fits very poorly and will take strong, strong hands to remove it after a few months of use. I've owned it for less than two years and wouldn't do it again. This performance is unacceptable for a premium product. I'm not sure what the warranty says, but I'm sure it's going in the bin.
