As advertised as a replacement you thought it would come with the necessary hardware to be a direct replacement for the OEM center speaker. It's not, it's not plug and play. This is ONLY the speaker, nothing else. I had to make two of my own pigtails to connect the standard wiring. I figured it would at least come with it as the connectors aren't regular connectors either. The sound is a little quieter than I expected but I missed the center speaker in my 2006 Grand Prix Monsoon system so I don't have a comparison. No buzzing or anything like that while using. The dashboard cover could be removed with a flathead screwdriver or a plastic dashboard removal tool. The landing was ok too but had some direction otherwise the lid wouldn't come back. In general, at least 2 small wires could be included to make the device easier to locate.
