I finally found a headlight that can be used for working with cars. I've always had problems with headlights dropping for garage use. My two favorite calluses with falling lights are portability and brightness. You can never find the best spot to hang a lantern to illuminate your work, or it's either too dark/bright or too bright. This headlamp stays on your head. The headband is adjustable and illuminates the entire work area without glare or glare. I've recently had to replace calipers and pads (and other car maintenance) and I love working nights. This headlamp allows me to work comfortably without the usual discomfort I have with pendant lights. I discharged the battery; This allowed about 2 hours of continuous use before the battery died. It was frustrating because I hadn't finished my work. I'm ready to order another one as the battery only lasted 2 hours of continuous use. I highly recommend this headlamp if you work with cars or in tight spaces. Buy two if you need more than 2 hours of continuous use. I cannot confirm other uses for this item as I only bought it to work on my vehicles. The two minor complaints or suggestions I have are: increase battery life and replace the cloth headband with something more durable, like the rest of the headlight's resilient plastic material. I've used headlamps in the past but the rubber bands inevitably lose their elasticity rendering them useless. Despite these shortcomings, I highly recommend it.
