Perfect for any type of coffee. This is probably a must for those who live (lived) in Austria (we lived 2.5 years) where there are 16 different types of coffee (rough estimate). I used a Braun grinder until I bought one and I can tell you that the flavor of my espressos, lattes and cappuccinos has been vastly improved. That makes sense to me as a chemist. The pressure during grinding significantly affects the process of extracting flavor nuances. I would like to compare it to garlic. It is only when you press the garlic that you get the full flavor and aroma. Cutting alone doesn't get you the full spectrum - you have to break down the smaller encapsulated flavor enhancers ;) I love this because I grind straight into my espresso filter, apply my coffee smoother (or whatever the geeks call it) and set it. to the car. It is very easy to clean as spills get into the easily removable bottom tray which can then be emptied into the filter. Looks very professional, not cheap. Yes, it's still mostly plastic, but very durable. Good choice.
