These lines are fantastic. My new puppy had Giardia when I bought him. We had to lock him up in the house and only let him use pee pads for 2 weeks. This was confusing to him and hence caused all sorts of problems with homeschooling. We always wanted to keep an eye on him outside of the cage. The result of these two factors was that he would always urinate on the floor and then drag his leash across it. So I needed some cheap linens to use for a day (or an hour!) and then added a washing machine with oxygen bleach and detergent and hot water. These linens are soaked in bleach and have been washed so many times since I bought them months ago! They dry in about 10 minutes, although sometimes I pop them in a hot dryer. I was afraid the metal would corrode but it's still shiny and perfect. I like the length and the material. I tied a second loop on each leash so I can keep him on a very short leash when I'm walking around the neighborhood or teaching him to walk. The knots stay tied even after washing. The lines don't stretch at all. Some of the leashes have gotten a bit fuzzy in the material, but even in the places my dog managed to chew on, the leashes haven't frayed or snapped. The material has softened with use and washing so it's comfortable to hold even when my dog falls. (I had to stop using another leash when it burned the rope.) I also really like how light they are. It feels like I'm not holding anything at all, but they hold my 120lbs, energetic and crazy Labradoodle with no problem. But otherwise they still look great.
