It really works!: Sofa covers

We live in a noisy house. There are two children under the age of 5, two cats and a large dog, not to mention two adults. As you can imagine, there are many ways to spill drinks, collect pet hair, and whatever else I dislike the most. cat urine. Our oldest cat, who is almost 13 years old, has taken to peeing on "soft" objects like beds, sofas and blankets on the floor. Recently she decided to devote all her energy to urinating on the couch in our living room and a double chair. As you can imagine, this quickly became a bone of contention in our family - my husband and I disagreed on what to do about this issue. It got to the point where the couch and love seat were washed every day, the pillowcases sent in the washing machine, and the pillows liberally sprayed with "cat pee spray" (you know, a deodorizing enzyme). The bench seats in the living room fell into disrepair because they were always taken apart for cleaning. Then we bought these furniture covers. It's only been a week, but I haven't taken the sofa and chair apart to clean it in a week! Although our senior cat did her best (by urinating on the couch or couch at least once a night for the past week), the effectiveness of these covers has withstood the nasty cat pee problem. Not once did urine seep through the housing! Both covers have been washed multiple times in the last 7 days and have proven their ability to withstand numerous "accidents" and also serve as a comfortable sleeping pad in our 95lb Lab Blend. acceptable. Not to mention the added benefit of protecting your furniture from dog and cat hair. The covers are also not uncomfortable for a person to rest. While some people seem to have a problem readjusting their covers after sitting, this is not a problem for our family (we had to readjust sofa cushions every day because they tended to slip). ). Does the lid have to be fixed during the day? Yes. Is it a big deal? nope The little "sticky" tabs at the bottom of the cover (mostly) keep the cover in place pretty well (we have an upholstered sofa/double seat). The size descriptions provided were correct and both covers we ordered fitted our sofa and armchair very well. You should measure your furniture before ordering just to make sure you get the right size. My recommendation for using this product is to follow the care instructions on the label. Machine wash in cold water, gentle cycle. Tumble dry low. Literally everything comes out in the wash.
