Edit -- If you want to use a Plex server, I'd recommend upgrading to a version with over 512MB RAM, most threads are very choppy. I use this device with two Seagates. Hard Drives IronWolf 6TB. The transfer rate is approximately 15 megabytes per second across multiple connections to Plex Server and Watch Center while transferring files. The device doesn't seem to be overheating and when I check it still has 20% free space. with normal and heavy loads. Setup was very easy and took 15 minutes. It can also be used as a network USB server, which was a nice surprise bonus. Installing apps works great with many options. The only downside I've seen so far. is that the Surveillance Center software doesn't have very good documentation on how to use it. I'm using some IP cameras that connect to most 3rd party software without any problems, but the Asustor software keeps telling me that the username/password is invalid. To be honest, the cameras I use are not officially supported by the software.
