Review on High-performance Amateur Dual-Band Magnet Antenna - Tram 1185 by David Dreher

Installed this antenna yesterday. The magnetic mount is strong and I'm not worried about it falling off the car. You will need to attach the antenna to the base the first time you open the box (it just screws into the base by hand). It also included an Allen key, which was confusing because the antenna was already firmly secured in its mount, so I'm not exactly sure what the Allen key is for. I will say that this is my first magnetic antenna and I was very disappointed with the cable length. I have a 3rd row SUV and thought the cable length might be an issue. Little did I know I would have to mount it right above the passenger door because that's literally all the wiring you get. I'm waiting for the adapter so I can't comment on the performance but I bought it based on several reviews recommending this particular model. All in all, setup is quick and easy, but oh my gosh, increase the cable length!
