The oil pressure was near zero when my original one failed...
Found out that on my 98 5.0 305 the sensor was on the back of the engine under a dizzying cover. Not easily accessible. I had to lie down on the engine to remove and install it. The old one cracked due to age and lost oil. New threads come pre-packaged. Spend $7 on a Lisle oil sensor connector to make things a little easier. Now I see the correct oil pressure.
