Love the handling of this tape measure, 16 foot self-locking workshop. Self-locking just right, but unlike other self-locking ones I've had, this one has a clearly labeled "lock" and "unlock" toggle button at the top. On my old self-locking, I kept pressing the unmarked button and releasing it when I didn't want to, as I often switch between self-locking and manual locking strap. My old one didn't have any "lock" mode other than force-locking self-locking either. This style Craftsman uses is much better. It has red fraction signs for 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 to make them stand out. They are larger than 1/8 black markings. The tape measure is 3 inches long, not the pesky 3.25 inches I've had on others, so it's easier to take internal measurements. I am very happy with it and will buy more to hide away.
