I was so excited about this machine. I make jelly and jam every year, but it's a tedious task. I was sure this was the answer. The machine was definitely easy to use. The jam was great but the taste was terrible. Even though I soaked and washed the pot and center all day before making the jam, the machine still made the jam taste like plastic or something metallic. I cooked 4 portions of jam and everything is bad! I decided to give the wash another try but the center part still smells bad so I'm not risking my fruit anymore! It was a waste of money and hope! I give it back!
