Review on NX Garden Shuttles Colorful Lacemaking by Kristen Simpson

These are very similar to the small US clover hooks except they don't have a sharp point. This didn't bother me because many shuttles don't have a needle and I just use a long quilting needle with a big head to pick up the wrong stitches. The price was very good and arrived very quickly. They worked like spools - so cheap that I don't worry about leaving thread on them, just load them up like other shuttle spools and have a bunch of them. They don't have the pearlescent plastic finish of the American Shamrock, but are made of soft, smooth plastic that's less slippery. The only important difference is that the image is not sharp, and some don't even like a sharp pickaxe. I've never used my photo to pull the pico through, I've always used a thin hook instead. For some, that may be a loss. may be.
