This newborn bed from Justbeen offers excellent value for money. It comes carefully packaged. The case is beautiful and easy to clean. Sizing is a bit adjustable which is great when kids are growing by leaps and bounds. It is best to place it on a soft surface, which is apparently what it is intended for. If the nest had thicker padding, it would definitely take up more space. For example, if you put it on a nice rug or rug, it should work just fine. I do not recommend leaving your child unattended in a bassinet. Even very young children can roll over and the sides are soft but potentially a choking hazard.
