My big fluffy kitty is *super* proud that he's a boy and since he was a little guy has peed as high as he possibly can. I've gone through 2 other litter boxes! The last one wasn't tall enough and so I regularly bought wee-wee pads for the wall and underneath the box so my house didn't smell like pee. But the ModCat litterbox is tall enough that I don't need wee-wee pads. He stands up just as tall as ever, but with the design of the surround, it runs back down into the litter, not outside the box. And I like that the surround is clear - it hides the fact that it's a big structure and blends in to the bathroom a lot better!The little front step thing turns out to be a bonus! For some reason my cat will return to the box just to "dig".he doesn't actually get in the box though - he stands outside, puts one arm in and flings litter while looking the other direction. It ends up getting litter all over the floor which he then tracks around the rest of the house. He jumps over the step when he's done doing his duty, but at least now the step prevents him from flinging litter all over the floor!
