I LOVE this item. It is beautiful and perfect for my toy poodle puppy. My dog sits with me at work so being able to leave the door open or closed for him is great. I love that the door latches so you don't even know it's there when it opens. Also, I have the option of not removing the top part to make it look more like a small fence. The design isn't made for that, but I use it every day without a top and it's so easy to put back on. It's true that it feels a bit more fragile than a non-modular box, but I think it's a compromise for something that comes apart so easily (as opposed to a hard plastic shell that doesn't fold) and in truth the " more fragile "design isn't even remotely broken. It's a lot lighter than my other drawers, so I can move it from room to room very easily (easier than my other drawers). A few people have commented that the latch is noisy, which is true, but I don't think it's any louder than my traditional drawer latches. It definitely feels a little wobbly, but holds up very well. The colors are so beautiful that I want to buy two. I bought it in pink but I might buy green for another room. Very happy with this product. It's expensive, but compared to other "nice" boxes, it's a good price AND it's modular too!
