I have had several tire gauges over the years. Most of them worked fine once or twice but broke or needed a battery when I really needed them. The dial is large and covered with a protective rubber sleeve to prevent damage from minor bumps/drops. The end of the pressure gauge can be rotated for easy reading of the pressure gauge value. If you find your tires are over-inflated, there is a pressure relief valve on the pressure gauge to gradually deflate your tires, which is very convenient.
