Our 13 pound Norwich Terrier has short legs and a thick neck. It seems too heavy and too long to easily clip between the leash and harness as shown in the photos. I guess if we strap ourselves on the leash we'll be fine. But our walks mostly stop and leave with some slack in the leash, causing it to drag on the floor. When it gets dark when I let her out in the yard, I tie this glowing strap around her neck like a very loose extra collar. Attached to an ordinary collar, it does not fly over her head, and I know exactly where she is in the yard. Suitable for our purposes.
