later I am a big fan of this brand of scissors. They are well made, very sharp and have a unique design. These scissors have slightly larger finger holes than regular scissors. As a 5'11" woman with male hands, I find the holes fit me and are comfortable, while some embroidery scissors have finger holes sized to fit more petite hands. in the world. Anyway, mine appears to be more blue than the picture which shows purple. They are a good weight and easy to use. They are as sharp as I would expect and work well with carving, paper crafts and other small projects. The only thing all i could ask for is a case to go with them, i love stacking them around the house and they're easy to get on your own if you're not careful when you reach into the drawer.
