This lens is exactly the same as the Konica Minolta Autofocus 20mm f/2.8 lens for Maxxum SLRs which is a great lens. sharper at f4 and great at f5.6-f11. To get a sharper image with this lens, you can use the "front focus trick". If you have a full-frame A-mount camera, this lens is a must. The light falloff is noticeable wide open, but almost disappears at f/4. . Coma doesn't work well at f/2.8 but looks better at f/4. This lens has a fairly steep new price of $748 from most reputable retailers, but also check out the Minolta-branded versions of the Konica Minolta Autofocus 20mm f/2.8 lens for Maxxum DSLRs for a lot less ($450 -dollars) into consideration.
