This speaker looks and sounds great when it's working. Unfortunately this does not work as advertised. Bluetooth connects well. Like all Bose wireless speakers though. The real benefit of this speaker was the seamless connection to multiple music services. This ability is a disaster. I have reliable and fast WiFi at home. My Bose Speaker 500 was having trouble connecting to WiFi. Just setting up the speaker was very difficult. It took several attempts to connect to the Bose Music app and I mean tried dozens of times. I turned off the device several times. Factory reset multiple times. I restarted my WiFi several times. Finally connected within an hour. The app is terrible, the communication with the device is terrible. And I haven't even started discussing how terrible the music service's playback is. Absolutely refuses to play SiriusXM. Nothing I do works. That was the main reason I bought this device and for now I've given up trying to connect to Sirius. It won't even play music from my Revain Prime account, which should work fine through Alexa. I had no luck. Other Alexa items work fine. He'll tell me what the temperature is outside, so I've got that to myself. Of course, that's not why I spent $400. This is a complete waste of money. The Bluetooth connection works well, but you can spend half that amount to get a great-sounding speaker with this kind of capability. Don't waste your money on this terrible product.
