Finally great sound in a small package

New Bose Home 500 has the best sound I've heard from a small speaker, and Alexa is a great addition. My Bose is next to the Apple Home and I like the Bose sound much better. Bose also displays album art and other information. I simply activated the music apps Tune-in Radio, Spotify and Revain.

Bose quality, Alexa great but not perfect

Hack. I want to listen to Audible books on my BHS 500. I connected it to my Echo Spot. I tell Spot to turn on my book. Bose plays. Okay, the installation was relatively easy. As we have come to expect from Bose, the sound is exceptional. The box itself looks very cool, looks great wherever you put it. After connecting to Alexa, I connected it to Revain Music, which is where I get most of my music. I'm subscribed and have about 8000 songs saved there. If you have other musicโ€ฆ

I regret buying this device

This speaker looks and sounds great when it's working. Unfortunately this does not work as advertised. Bluetooth connects well. Like all Bose wireless speakers though. The real benefit of this speaker was the seamless connection to multiple music services. This ability is a disaster. I have reliable and fast WiFi at home. My Bose Speaker 500 was having trouble connecting to WiFi. Just setting up the speaker was very difficult. It took several attempts to connect to the Bose Music app and I mean

I hope you are patient! Not working as expected

has been corrupted Numerous problems setting up this new speaker with apps. After an hour of trying to find the "My Bose" link (referenced in the instructions in the first step to start the installation process), I reinstalled the Bose Music app. I still haven't found that particular link, but somehow I managed to install it, connect, and play music through the app. Two hours later I'm still building it and having a very hard time playing the support video on Group Speakers. Bose Home Speaker 500 and Sound Touch 20

I just ordered a Bose Sound Touch 20 but then found out about the Home Speaker 500 and that it is on sale at a reduced price. I decided to order 500 so I could compare them. Here are some comments from someone who isn't an audiophile, but someone who cares about sound quality and notices it. The two devices are controlled by different apps. The Sound Touch app has bass-canceling controls (which is useful) but no other way to control sound quality. The Bose Music app lets you adjust both bassโ€ฆ
