I bought these to hold items in my trunk as the soft sided trunk organizer wasn't doing it. These are pretty sturdy and work well for organizing items and not having to worry about stuff moving around because the sides are soft. Also, If you're packing a trunk and you hit the side of the crate the items inside don't feel the impact.
