This device allows you to connect an Ethernet cable or a printer cable to a USB port. There is an Ethernet port on one end of the device. The other end has a USB-A connector. To use the device, simply plug it into your computer's USB-A port and then plug the cable into the other end of the device. I am very pleased with the performance of this cable. I recently upgraded my home from Wi-Fi to all wired connections for better speeds. I used this device on my custom built Win10 desktop for a non-network wired connection to the printer while keeping the normal ethernet connection for my network cable. The new connection with this device works great and now I don't have to struggle with the printer trying to get it to print over the network. Overall, this device is easy to use and comfortable enough for wired connections.
