Before this product I bought a 3M film from Vvivid in 2016 and stuck it on the inner door panel of the car which is made of vinyl. to protect it from my pup - works great! I later bought these non-3M products from Vvivid in 2017, the 6 inch width worked well, however they didn't stick, stretch or curl like the 3M brand. I also bought 12" Vvivid products which do not stick to the vinyl at all but do stick to painted metal. I realize I'm using it in a custom application but I'm comparing it to a 3M product that works great and stretches better.
