no major issues I can recall when I used it, so that means it did its job . It saved my bum from a countless fall when I was trying to learn snowboarding. Had i not had this, I think my tailbone/bum would have been shattered to pieces! :) Glad I wore it ! Not sure for other sports, but if you are trying to learn snowboarding, wear this type of protection. You won't feel bad/hurt even when you fall and won't be sore the next day.
