If you like (and can wear!) speedometer swimwear this is for you. However, check the size chart - my waist is 34 and xxl fits almost perfectly. I think they would be fine in a "family situation" (we're vacationing in Europe where this type of clothing is more common); "Package inflation" is not too noticeable. I was impressed with the fit and considering they're about half the price of a Tyr or a Speedo I think it's a bargain. I have 2 pairs and have worn them about a dozen times and so far they are fine. Based on the experience of other brands made of the same material, it is recommended to rinse them thoroughly with fresh water after a stay in the sea, otherwise the elasticity will decrease and they will sag.
