Fun shopping toy for the kids

My kids have a play kitchen but we didn't have much in the way of play-food for it, so I figured I'd grab this as a means of restocking the kitchen. Little did I realize that the REAL toy isn't the food, it's the shopping cart. They've loaded that thing up with all their favorite toys and push it around our house, mimicking my wife and me when we go shopping. Picking up random things in the house, pretending to read the label, and then putting it in the cart. The complete mayhem that is my house cannot be overstated. I don't know where anything is because all my things have been "shopped."The food items are fun enough, though with toddlers as young as mine, the cardboard items are not long for this world, it's only a matter of time before they're completely destroyed. The plastic food items have a bit of a proportion issue going on. They have whole chickens about the size of a pastry. Would have made more sense to do drumsticks instead of whole chickens.Nevertheless, the kids don't seem to mind, and fun is being had so for that I am grateful.
