Cheap Chinese junk: ABEC

The new skates looked great but weren't worth the time. The laces on the boots are meaningless as this is a fiberglass boot so the laces are almost irrelevant. The gold protectors on the scratch are nice but cheaply painted. I had a very minor accident in my driveway and I'm looking at the damage. Roller skates must be durable! When I took off my skates, the buckle on my left boot came undone. These parts should be made of an alloy or metal, not the cheap polystyrene that is common in Chinese toys. The wheels are hard plastic, not standard polyurethane. The wheel bearings were quiet but didn't roll freely, which requires a lot of power to roll. I had to stop many times to adjust the comfort of the boots, which I never did. There are better $80 skates compared to these overpriced fakes.

Pros
  • sports bearings with less vibration, longer wear and better rolling, 90A wheels have more spokes for more support and stability.
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok
