Bought 4 of these to connect 3 objects on the farm. The number of DSL connections has been reduced from 3 to 1. The access point was easy to set up and reliable. They are planted outdoors in northern Wisconsin and exposed to the harsh winters that we have. One of the coldest days, down to minus 40. The devices did not disappoint. One thing to consider is a lightning rod kit. Since these hotspots are outdoors, one of us was smoked out by a lightning strike and we didn't have an emergency kit installed. Overall, for the price, you won't be disappointed if you buy one of these devices. Oh our total distance that we shoot is about 200 yards from a to b and then 200 yards from c to d. We'll try to photograph it over two miles away, so we'll let you know when that happens.
