Review on Filter under the sink Aquaphor Crystal Eco by Jnis Brveris ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

I’ll make a reservation right away, before buying a filter, I did a water analysis and, according to the results, it turned out that my water meets the requirements of GOST. What I do not like about it is the smell of chlorine and the possible inconstancy of quality. For these purposes, I decided that the flowing aquaphor with K3, K7V and K7 cartridges would be optimal. Installed the specified filter model and so far everything suits. I read a lot of reviews and would like to point out the following, a lot of people complain about hard water and that the softening cartridge quickly loses its effectiveness. I think that these people do not do water analysis and do not read the instructions for the filter (and end up installing the wrong type of filter). I decided for myself that I don’t need a softening cartridge for two reasons: 1. I am satisfied with medium hardness water, scale can always be removed and I don’t see anything fatal in it. 2. Softening cartridges are almost everywhere based on the replacement of calcium ions with sodium ions, which in my opinion is not healthy. If you are interested, then read about an excess of sodium and what are the disadvantages of this.

Pros
  • + easy to install + at office the site is all accessible and understandable on the device cartridges
Cons
  • - in my sink there are two identical holes for taps with a diameter of 40 mm. The filter tap from the kit is only two millimeters wider - I had to look for a spacer under the tap. It would be great if it was included (I bought a mixer and there was one). - I don’t know how anyone, but I constantly intuitively try to close the tap by turning it down (either the fact that single-lever mixers are installed everywhere and they close by pressing down, or that the ball valves are blocked everywhere by the installation across the flow). For example, you need to pour 220 ml of water for baking bread, open the tap a little, then at the right moment, instead of closing it, open it to the full >_<.
