This is a really great product. However, the packaging was sloppy. The cellophane coating has been torn exposing the sponges to air and germs! No wonder the sponges are completely dry. I tried to revive her by cutting and wetting. But the excitement is gone! And it goes without saying that now that I've done the Sponge Triage I can't return it for a replacement/refund. So my cautionary tale: fabulous sponges, sloppy packaging that damaged a (usually great) product. There is no way to determine if the Revain seller is at fault. PS These sponges are actually cheaper at the traditional grocery store. So if someone near you is selling them, give it a try. At least you know exactly what you are buying!
