These are the best sponges for the kitchen. I'm so glad to find them online because as of March 2020 this type of sponge is no longer available.

I have been using these sponges for about 5 years now and I really like them. They never smell and about every few weeks I soak them in a small amount of bleach to get the stains out. Even if I do, they don't fall apart. They last a long time. I will no longer buy sponges.

Although I'm not a fan of sponges as they contain crazy bacteria I use them for some house cleaning projects and other things. It's okay. They are a good size and thick enough not to fall apart after repeated use. I boil my sponges in water after a few uses to keep bacteria at bay and they hold up well and don't weaken or crack. When I MUST use a sponge, although they don't have any frills like a washcloth, they're great for my needs. They come in different colors, which is nice too.

This is a really great product. However, the packaging was sloppy. The cellophane coating has been torn exposing the sponges to air and germs! No wonder the sponges are completely dry. I tried to revive her by cutting and wetting. But the excitement is gone! And it goes without saying that now that I've done the Sponge Triage I can't return it for a replacement/refund. In today's world many things are less manufactured and the cost is either the same or more. Beyond this topic, I want to say that the Stay Fresh Sponges are good, but I need them a little bigger, they are too small. Microwave sponges for a minute each day after a few quick rinses with fresh water. I use a blue Scotch-Brite sponge with a non-scratch side for dishwashing and table cleaning (microwaving gets a lot of bubbles out).
