I use it as a small companion screen for my Dell laptop. With a 1" USB cable (included) and a 1" HDMI to HDMI cable (not included), everything works as intended. It's completely plug-n-play and has an amazingly sharp picture. The brightness is suitable for indoor use. The photos show a stand suitable for this device; Stand was not included. Also, the photos are misleading, it looks like a science project as the frame is not processed properly leaving a big gap where the backlight hits the viewer's face. A bit of black tape fixes this, but the USB and HDMI ports aren't really protected and are only held in place by the circuit board. These connectors can easily deform and loosen if excessive lateral pressure is applied to the connector. The device holds like a sandwich and the four screws in the corners keep loosening. I won't over tighten it, it's too easy to break the corners. So - excellent electronics, dubious protection.
