I've been using this stove for 2 months now, in that time the burners have come on 4 times in the middle of the night. I woke up and smelled the burning cardboard that was on top. The way the parental controls work makes no sense at all, in fact they don't work at all. The power button can still be turned on while it is installed, and when you turn on the power button, the child lock will be unlocked automatically. This is very dangerous, especially if you have cats, the house can easily be set on fire. The second thing I noticed is that it doesn't seem very strong, it takes forever to boil a pot of water.
