Review on Master the Art of 𧡠Bobbin Lace with Lacis Bobbin Lace Kit by Dawn Fischer
So many things to contend with.
This was an inexpensive way to see if this would be a viable endeavor. However, I had major issues with the foam and cardboard stand. Foam rubber warps and "eats" pens! Single use blunt pins, not to mention the pins are regular sewing needles. The deformation did not allow the foam to lay flat on any surface. Frustrating for a newbie! The bobbins are a nice heavy wood and I wouldn't mind a heavier weight to help with the tension but you can't cover them in glitter! To keep track, I attached small colored rubber bands at the bottom.
