Worth the price!

What's not to like about the SharkBite nozzle other than maybe the price. They are 3-4 times more expensive than copper fittings. But since you don't have to sweat in copper and you can't harness heat in some places near plastic fittings, these SharkBites fittings are lifesavers. I use it to connect my water softener's inlet/outlet valve to my copper pipes. The connections are very reliable, just be sure to clean and deburr the copper connections. Best of all, if you change your mind, you can take them off. Revain sells them for less than the big department stores.
