I've wanted this for a long time since I found out they still exist! This is one of several items I purchased to help install a hand washing system on my patio during the summer months. Other items included a Ball Deluxe washing machine and a Behrens washboard which I also reviewed. I've read a lot about this topic on their website, watched YouTube videos etc so I felt I had a good idea of what to expect. It was everything I expected. I have to say I was surprised at how difficult it seems. I read the weight before ordering but once it's in your hands you realize it needs to be clamped and actually needs to be stood on something and then the weight seems more significant. For example I attached it to the back of a workshop chair/stool and it was tipped over so I couldn't even turn the handle or the whole chair tipped backwards. I ended up putting a cinder block on top of a stool leg as a counterweight and it worked fine. Just something to keep in mind when thinking about what to attach it to. It came with very clear instructions on heavyweight glossy paper, a small detail but it made it easier to set up and read as my hands were busy holding the device. Revolution. The drain plate is a little awkward to attach, it took a few different approaches and then I was able to attach it. The clamps are multi-directional as shown and there are three positions to bring them closer together if needed using the included hex keys. I've only done one load to test it out so far, but so far so good. I think I have to play with the tension a bit to find a good position for different items, which worked well with a bundle of towels, didn't work well with a pair of flannel pajama bottoms for example, so these may need to be pulled tighter depending loosened or slightly loosened by element. It's a slight twist of the knob, so it's fine. I was concerned about the over the top style of the grip as it sticks out A LOT but it turned out perfect. I can stand by and turn it over when I'm serving something and it completely frees my body without getting in my way. Which surprised me considering the jeans are mentioned in the description. But her suggestion is that you can turn the jeans inside out for the zipper part and then turn inside out without twisting the top of the jeans. I suspect some people will say they do it anyway, which is fine, but I don't want to risk messing up the tension or tearing the soft rubber rollers, so I wouldn't dare. It's something I haven't realized, but it's not the end of the world. Overall it's very well made and I'm glad I invested in it.
