Review on Pirelli Ice Zero 2 205/55 R16 80T winter by Jnis Hermanis ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

Also, the Ice Zero 2 tire's rubber compound is fundamentally different from that of the original. For better traction in "warm winter" conditions, we used a unique resin. Everything checks out, even in the most untypical December conditions. I also tested it on ice and found that it grips the surface really well. All the spikes have been installed thus far. Despite the fact that he sped up and slowed down dramatically. In a nutshell, it's a tire with excellent balance. And far more reasonably priced than equivalents in the high-end market. Additionally crucial is the next point.

Pros
  • After putting Ice Zero 2 through its paces for three weeks during a "warm winter" in Hong Kong this December, I was able to confirm my initial impressions: the device significantly reduces background noise. In other words, she doesn't answer the phone. No distracting noises at all. You might as well be riding a stick. The "talkativeness" was tested on both dry pavement and a surface made of a mud and snow porridge mixture. Surprisingly, the customary rumble of spikes is completely absent both there and there. The spikes used to appear to be created in lines, but now they are spread out in various directions. As a result, the tires' braking performance improved and their noise levels decreased. I compared it to the ice and snow reel and found nearly zero flaws.
Cons
  • Ignored it completely.
