Review on DEDC Mountain Bicycle Bracket Extractor by Ricky Rey

KIT shipped and arrived on time. This is the SET I paid for. This is a cheap imitation of higher quality tools and most items are fine. However, the crank removal/extraction tool has one major disadvantage. A bolt pressing on the through shaft of the crank will damage the internal threads of the shaft. My PARK Tools crank puller has a rotating part on the end to prevent damaging the threads (see pictures), but this one doesn't. How do I know it's damaging the thread? I was in a hurry and used this new tool to clean my connecting rods before riding and ended up wasting time fixing threads instead of riding. This tool ends up in a spare tool bag or is never used. Again, the other tools in the SET are fine and seem to be working.
