I installed this to replace the fan on my Creality Ender 3 Pro 3D printer. I've done this before with another brand. It was quiet but I could still hear it and found a very vibrating sound in my footprint. A lot of people have advised me to use a Noctua fan, but I did a little research and spoke to others who have built and bought their own printers. I couldn't be happier! The only way to make this fan quieter is to not use a fan at all. I turned off everything in the room that made even the slightest noise, called my roommate to help make sure it wasn't just me, and asked her to watch the fan. I turned on the printer and they asked if the fan was even working. I turned the printer off again so they could see the fan up close, then turned it back on. Silent operation! They agreed that the only way to know if a fan is running is to watch the blades spin up. The price for a pair of these fans was perfect. I'm on a pretty tight budget and these were exactly the replacement parts I needed. Since I only needed one to replace the old one, I now have a spare.
