For the price, this is a great item. I chose the neutral grey color. It covered my ugly, white boxspring perfectly. It is thin, stretchy material (not so thin that you see through it), and you have to pull pretty tight to get it over all 4 corners appropriately. I can easily see my cat pulling out loops of fiber with her first scratch, but I am satisfied (again, for the price). If you have a cat who scratches and want something that is likely to last for a while, go with a more expensive, higher-quality item. It drastically changed the look of my bed, which now looks more tidy, put-together, and intentional. No more lazy-looking box spring.
