I hate wearing a watch on the golf course so I was excited to try the Bushnell Phantom. I assumed I would clip it to my belt and refer to it when needed. The problem is that the magnet is too weak to stick to the belt clip. It just takes a little pressure from your hand, a golf cart, or those love handles you wear around your waist to bring it down. Well there is no problem. I just put it in my pocket and take it out when I need it. This also doesn't work well because either the satellite signal is lost (and you have to re-find the satellite, select a course and manually advance it to the hole you are on), or one of the protruding buttons is pressed and you have to deal with it mess around. I've tried leaving it in a golf cart cup holder or in my bag, but having to pull it out every time doesn't work very well if you're just carting around or like going to the next shot with a club or two. in your hands The displayed footage takes a few seconds to "catch upβ with you as you quickly drive or walk to the next shot. The display is easy to read and the footage seems accurate.
