I can't say I'm a big fan of shock therapy, but it's definitely effective. I tried electric current to make sure it wasn't dangerous. It's really more of a "tingling" or buzzing than a discharge. There is a possibility to modulate the intensity, which is very convenient because the collar is suitable for dogs of different sizes. The most interesting thing about the settings of this collar is that it can be programmed for different dogs and change all the settings automatically just by switching the preset. Settings A range of about 20 feet is sufficient for me as I train my dog not to leave the backyard for his own safety. The controller must be in sight for it to function properly.
