Loved the clean look with plenty of room for my base to see it on either side for a great finish. I liked the included transparent airtight seal. Might be a bit tricky to connect. The trick is to make sure your dryer hose fits freely into the port adapter when it is inserted into the case vent block. It may take a few tries, but it will eventually snap easily and firmly into place once you get it right. Be patient. it WILL HAPPEN, and if you try to force it, you'll stop because you're doing it wrong. I found it useful to just dry attach the port adapter with no hose attached to get a better idea of how the mechanism works exactly. It snaps easily if done right. A great solution considering my galvanized vent pipe was worn out to hell and would never make a normal connection even if my life depended on it! It seemed wrong to me to cut the vent tube, but in the end it was said and done. I felt completely liberated from my previous experience of trying to hook up a dryer to a twisted, bent, sharp metal pipe! Thanks very much! Good product!
