Not the best I've used but not the worst either. A good description would be functional with a little preparatory work. When they arrived there were a lot of machining marks around the tips and they were filled with lots of engine oil. They were also not cleaned well before being packed for sale so the engine oil was very black with dirt when they arrived. After thorough cleaning, I sanded off the machining marks with sandpaper and then polished them smooth on a bench grinder. Nice clean oil finish and they were ready to use. I bought these to poke some new holes in my favorite leather belt to keep my pants from falling off (the gym membership pays off). For one-time use, "Fix-it” is acceptable in quality and price. However, if you are serious about leather work or a professional, this is not for you. Spend a little more and buy a higher quality punch set. You will be happier in the long run.
