Installed 7 of these valves as part of a home power automation project. The description says they should operate at 0 psi. 5 out of 7 licked to varying degrees; All were installed in the same configuration. You can work with a lot of positive pressure, but not zero. However, manually blowing in air at a higher pressure (10psi) to check also shows leaks, so I doubt it. Build and finish are pretty good for the price. Try a few US Solid automatic ball valves to see if they work better as other options seem to be about 5 or 10 times more expensive.
