As always for a small installation, the build quality is excellent. However, I'm a bit disappointed with the design, mainly the lack of cold shoe mounts. Of course, you can screw on the brackets, but if they are built in and not something else, then you will have to buy them, as well as an extra thing that sticks out of the cage. a bit annoying. And knowing that the a6400 will specifically have a folding screen, one on the side or even just one in the middle would be great. Even if the hot shoe is available on the camera, you are more likely to encounter problems as I have everything you need. The Rode Pro video mic fits, and while it slides nicely across the setup there don't seem to be any mounting issues or damage to anything.
