I am very happy with this purchase. I have a GE GeorSpring hybrid electric water heater (recommended btw) that has a small drip hose to allow the water drained from the heat pump evaporator to exit the unit without pooling. Unfortunately, I don't have a drain nearby, so I did my best to let gravity do its thing (it didn't work) and instead emptied a 5 gallon bucket each day after it was full. After looking for other solutions, including running a drain underground to just turn the heat pump off and go all electric, I found a Little Giant automatic condensate drain pump. This device was something to plug in, and as the instructions state, the device's storage tank fills up until the built in float activates the pump, which then quickly and quietly dumps the water into a sink about 15 feet away. . the leg tube supplied with the device. So far it has helped and I no longer have to pour the water out of the bucket. Thank you little giant!
