After using these 4 times and having cleaned them thoroughly more times than I can count I now know that this product is cheaply made and SHOULD NOT be sold. What they call stainless steel is NOT. Every time I have used this product has left a film in my cup and a metallic taste in my tea. At first I thought it was just me or maybe a dirty mug, but after the 3rd and 4th time I know this is the product. I have also used my other spinners and have NEVER had this problem. One of them also had a chipped metal coating removed. As you can see from the picture, it's made out of some sort of blue plastic. I have also included a photo of the film on the surface of the tea and the silvery film it leaves in the cup after the tea is drunk.
